Descendants of Jonathan Hickman Parker
1. JONATHAN HICKMAN1 PARKER was born between 1813 and 1814 at found in 1820 census
born 1810-1820, Covington, MS. He married Jincy/Jense/Gincy (unproved daughter) Netherlin,
daughter of Joseph Netherlin and Mary Ann Sauls, circa 1837 at Newton?, MS. He died after 1880
at Smith?, MS.
He was listed on tax list. was listed on tax list as Hickman Parker in 1833 at Copiah, MS. He and
his brother Joel W. Parker are selling the whole NE 1/4 of Twp 2 Range 1W Section 14 to Lewis
Kennedy.
This land was patent in two parts W1/2 of the NE 1/4 Patent to Jesse E Miers and E 1/2 of the NE
1/4 Patent to Wm L. V. Parker
The first transaction for this land was on June 10, 1835 where Jonathan H Parker and Joel W. Parker
are saling the property. There is NO deed from Jesse Miers or WLV Parker to Joel &Jonathan. This
has to be when Joel and Jonathan are leaving Copiah County and heading to Newton County.

1844 at Newton, MS. As of 1840, Jonathan Hickman Parker (or the family of) lived at Newton, MS.
They appeared on the census; 146 Johathan H Parker 10002000000-0001000000. Who is the
extra male 20-30 living her. He appeared on the census of 1845 at Newton, MS; is on State Census
- Joel W. Parker (1male-2female) and near by is J. H. Parker (2male-2female) and Jesse Miers. He
was listed on tax list. was listed on tax list between 1845 and 1847 at Jasper, MS. He was listed on
tax list. was list on tax list between 1847 and 1849 at Smith, MS. As of 1850, Jonathan Hickman
Parker (or the family of) lived at Smith, MS. He appeared on the census; 1850 MS, Smith 51-350-
350 Jonathan Parker 28(?38)MS, Jincy 28, Washington 11, Clampa 2, Near by is Jesse Miers. As
of 1860, Jonathan Hickman Parker (or the family of) lived at Smith, MS. He appeared on the
census; J H Parker 47MS, Jinsy M Parker 37MS, Clary A Parker 12, James M Parker 3.12. As of
1870, Jonathan Hickman Parker (or the family of) lived at Smith, MS. He appeared on the census;

JINCY/JENSE/GINCY (UNPROVED DAUGHTER) NETHERLIN was born between 1821 and 1823
at Lawrence or Hinds, MS. As of 1830, Jincy/Jense/Gincy (unproved daughter) Netherlin (or the
family of) lived at Hinds, MS. They appeared on the census; is shown in 1830 census as born 180-
1825. She is not mention in C. & J. Netherlland's book.

1 (West of Leaf River), 42-340-340 Green W Parker 52MS/MS/MS (Dec 1847)
widow, Jas R Parker 18MS/MS/MS (July 1881), Nellie Parker 15MS (Mar
1885), Edward Parker 12MS (Aug 1887). As of 1910, Green Washington
Parker (or the family of) lived at Smith, MS. He appeared on the census; 28-
160-165 George W Parker 70MS/MS/MS (wd, married at 28), Lula Parker

she was born 1840. She married Benjamin W. Beard circa 1855 at ?Newton,
MS. She died in 1880 at Smith, MS; is buried in Bezer Cemetery, West (also
known as Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery).
MARGARET AMANDAH CURRIE was born on 8 Dec 1850 at Smith, MS.
She died on 19 Jul 1894 at Smith, MS, at age 43; is buried in Butler
Cemetery.

ii. CLAIRE A was born in 1848 at MS. She married (--?--) Daughdrill.

iii. JAMES MADISON (MAT) was born in Feb 1861 at Smith, MS; had head stone
at Merchants Cemetery . Gives birth date of 22 Mar 1856. He married
Gracey Elizabeth (--?--). He died on 2 Jan 1941 at Smith, MS, at age 79; had
head stone at Merchants Cemetery . Gives birth date of 22 Mar 1856.
