Any more information?

Our Nestor side of the family comes from Co.Cork and is could be the English version of the Irish "Macanoister" (or something like that). It could also be Norman in origin, or German. I think any Greek connection can be ruled out.

My great grandfather was R.I.C., born in the 1890's. He was one of 11 children. One of his sons was in the Royal Navy and retired in Scotland. Another went to the USA in the 1930's. Another was head of Woolworths in Ireland.

Any Nestors out there related? Any more information?

Steven
