Abe,
Check with Mike Nestor, mdn3557@yahoo.com, for possible links, he's by far the best source on Nesters in the USA. I've been working with him in Pennsylvania, currently in Berks Co, and haven't seen any links to Judaism. From what I've uncovered, right down to my great grandparents, they were all Lutheran or Church of Christ. Current branch on my line is Brethren in Christ and Baptist. Mike would have more information on our Samuel lines.
