hey to anyone who comes across this. i'm a 23 year old student at radford university and i was born and raised in this area. my grandmother is katie nester (now katie farmer) from this same area and i was wondering about her ancestors. i don't even know where the nesters are originally from. ireland maybe? anyway i'd love to hear from anybody about this so feel free to e-mail!
