Hi everyone my name is Tracey Nesmith I found this site by Googleing the last name Nesmith. I am putting my story out here in hopes that someone could help me My grandmother's name is Eartha Nesmith in which this is her married name her birth name is Eartha Jenkins She is no longer with us she passed away December 18th 2007. But she died with alot of secrets of her past. Here is what i know Eartha Nesmith which we know her as Jeanette Nesmith was born April 29. 1922 to Pompey Jenkins and Julie A. Washington Jenkins. She was educated at Eadytown School In Berkely County, South Carolina. She married the late Sam Nesmith On July 4, 1944 and had six children 5 boys and 1 girl what i am trying to find out is information about My grandfather Sam Nesmith we have no info on him and my dad would love to know something anything about his dad he never knew.
