Hello again!
I have progressed to the point where I need documentation that Thomas Johnson Nesmith is the son of Isaac OR his wife, Ann Johnson Nesmith. It is through Ann that we are linking ourselves to the Revolutionary War and the DAR. Ann's father was Col Benjamin Johnson (that would be our GGGGGgrandfather!)
It is unfortunate that the death certificates of yesteryear do not list the names of the deceased's parents, as do the DC's of today.
As soon as I can close the links in the chain that I need, I will submit the information to Naesmyth.com for other cousins to use, but, please, if anyone has the birth record documentation...Bible record...baptismal record...etc., please contact me!!! Thank and have a great day!!!!!
