Nathaniel NESBITT was born June 16, 1818, Huntley, Carleton, Ont; died Feb. 8, 1916, Worthington, Ont; bur. Whitefish Cemetery, Sudbury, Ont. I have an image of the headstone. His parents are John NESBITT & Katharine MURPHY. They were Anglicans.
I have the 1871 & 1881 census records for Nathaniel. He was living in Litchfield Twp, Pontiac, QC. I haven't been able to locate him in the 1851, 1861, 1901, 1911 censuses.
He married (widow)Roxey Ann (Roxianne) (nee EBERT) HAYES Jan. 1, 1861---where I'm not sure, probably Quebec. Nathaniel was about 44 when he married her and I'm curious if he was married and widowed prior to this union.
I'm trying to determine if Nathaniel is a sibling or cousin to my Elisabeth (nee NESBITT) MCCOSHEN.
If anyone knows the names of Nathaniel's siblings would you please post them for me? Thank you.
