Hi Jill,

I'll send the photos to the e-mail you listed here. If you don't have it already, you will want to order a copy of John Gillon's pension file from the National Archives. It's well worth the price as it has a couple of letters written by John Gillon when applying for his war pension as well as a bit of information that corroborates some information given in an obituary for one of John Gillon's grandsons. May I ask who your dad is? I've visited some of the Gillon cousins who live in Mississippi who are descended from Willie Gillon (son of Hugh Gillon Junior and Mary Hill). I'm a Gillon descendant through Willie's sister Sarah (Sallie) Gillon Capshaw.
