My direct line through my Dad goes back to the John Gillon who is Hugh's father. I have some info about them, but it's limited to the basics of dates and a few locations. I'm happy to swap info with anyone. I'd love to get some information about John's parents and anyone who came before him. All I know about him is that he was born in 1752 in Lancaster District, SC, Married Jane Young and moved to Cabarrus County in NC.
