Hi Heather! I agree with your conclusions although I would be curious about WHY you believe they definitely came from Connecticut to NY to Canada?? I think so maybe too but I can find no evidence that links a William and Nancy Reed in revolutionary NY to Reeds in Connecticut, do you?
The family this man brought to Hastings County is now VAST.
I live just across the Bay of Quinte from the mouth of the Moira River, the Reed route of settlement here. I have a fairly large data base. Stuff here is not a problem, it's the colonial pre-Loyalist part! That little puzzle piece to connect the dots eludes me!
