In the 1880 Census, Eminence, Missouri, Samuel NESBIT, age 42, farmer, his parents born KY & GA.
His wife and children were:
Mary Louisa, wife, age 36
George W., son, age 17
Martha E., dau, age 8
Marshall T., son, age 5
Charles E., son, age 3
Arthur C., son, age 2m
Panence Buller, step dau, age 12
Thomas Stelfox, "other", age 54
George W. NESBIT married Jennie May Crawford sometime before 1863. George and Jennie are in the 1920 Missouri census with son Hayden C., age 17, and dau Daisy, age 10.
Hayden C. (Charles) NESBIT married Margarette Elina Stotts sometime before 1928. They are found in the 1930 Federal Census for Meade County, KS, with dau Esther L, age 2, dau Bonnie L, age 1, and Hayden's mother Jennie, age 56.
Children of Hayden and Margarette were:
Esther, Bonnie, John, Frieda, William, Richard b. 1944
(to my knowledge all 6 were born in Kansas)
