I'm afraid to have to tell you that the award given to Dr Gongal recently may have been a huge hoax. King Birenda was assasinated by his son in the summer of 2001, along with his wife Queen Aishwarya. Since 2001 the King of Nepal has been King Gyanendra, although I have heard that he sometimes impersonates his late brother. Please be aware that there is some very suspect literature in circulation regarding King Birenda and that you should recheck your sources over and over again.

Regards,

Jackie
