Arvo Nelson Quincy/Reading Ma
Is there anyone out there that remembers Arvo A Nelson?
He was a Civil Engineer, having worked for DPW in Boston, and then EB Badges & Stone & Websters.Toward the end of ww2 because he flunked the physical for the Navy, he went to work in Washington DC for Navy Dept for the duration of the war.He had lived in Quincy Ma while going to Northeastern University.I believe he graduated around 1926-1929.He played the trumpet, and gave trumpet lessons while in college. He married Margaret Bradley in April of 1939. They had 3 children Barbara Peter and Linda.
I am hoping that just maybe there are some old friends or acquaintances of dads still alive(I know chances are slim, dad would be 96 now), but maybe someone can fill me in on what he was like back then.He died when I was 12, and my siblings 7 and 5 respectively.I really would like to get some pictures of him, as I have none at all.Thank you one and all for all help.I appreciate it.Barbara
