Hello Sue,
I just wanted to say howdy and introduce myself. My name is Joseph O. Nelson or just Joe for short. I was very surprised when by accident I stumbled on to this web site while looking for more family history. My Nelson clan linage dates back to three brothers that arrived in the colonies around 1702. They came here from their homeland of Scotland. They were in Orange, Co. N.C. for a time and from what I remember there is even an old church graveyard that has nothing but Nelsons buried there in Orange, Co. Of the three brothers I can only remember two of their names, Thomas and Abraham. I believe Thomas is my link to the clan. One of my four times Great Grandfathers was Price Williams Nelson. Any way we have a book that covers most of the Nelson clan from these three brothers up to about the time Arizona became a state or just a bit more. There is supposed to be a new addition to this book with the rest of the generations up to my children but I lost track of that part after my aunt Hester Ann Nelson past away here a while back. Anyway I look forward to more posts with you all.
Kind Regards,
Joe
