Just found another bit...when Dorothy Nelson, Matthew's daughter married Charles Hundley, a John Nelson jr. was listed as Teste:...this was in Cumberland co., Va. ..28 January 1771....so another family tie to a John Nelson.....and he's probably not her brother John unless Matthew's name was John Matthew...although I know they use Jr. to just mean a younger man with the same name sometimes.....
