This past summer (2005) I attended a reunion of the descendants of Sara Gronbeck & Oluf Danielsen (my grandfather & his siblings) on the island of Tro, near Tjotta in Norway (sorry, I haven't figured out how to get the computer to put dots or slashes with the o's as needed)...
Learned then that our family has roots of 1600's in Denmark, a fellow who was a mayor & who's home is now a museum there...spelling also Gronbek...
