DNA Results
OK Folks, the Nell DNA results are finally in!
These are the Y-Line signature numbers:
DYS19= 14
DYS388 = 12
DYS390 = 23
DYS391 = 11
DYS392 = 13
DYS393 = 13
DYS 389I = 10
DYS 389II-I = 17
DSY 425 = 12
DSY 426 = 12
What does all this mean? Well, according to the Oxford folks, "it is likely that your Y-chromosome has been inherited from a paternal ancestor who belonged to one of the ancient Celtic tribes that lived in Britain and Ireland before the Vikings arrived at the end of the 8th century AD and that had already settled the British Isles before the Romans invaded, perhaps even from one of the first settlers who arrived in Britain 9,000 ago."
But, I've only had the Oxford documents for a few hours and must study it more thoroughly to understand the results.
