Ignatz was born 19 Nov 1826 in Baden; died 28 Jul 1863 Franklin Co MO; married 1854 Franklin Co MO to Johanna Dress/Drees/Dreesz.

Family history has him as a man of mystery whose health was ruined in the goldfields. Sometime after his death folks claiming to be related visited Franklin Co MO, but no one would speak with them.
