In relation to your inquiry regarding William. I have a William Neilson born 12th Sept 1774 at Kilmore and died in 1821 in Rademon, county Down, Ireland. William was a DD (Doctor of Divinity) and minister of the presbyterian church in Dundalk and afterwoods a Professor of Greek in Belfast Academical Institute. He wrote several books including on on the Gaelic language. His father was Moses Neilson a famous minister who started a school in Rademon. Moses was my g g g g g grandfather.
