I know this may be a long shot but I am looking for the parents of John Alexander Neal of Blount County, TN. Born abt. 1830 possibly in North Carolina, died 1863, mar. Artie Lukinza Howard, dau. of John & Catherine Howard in 1853. The frequent discussions I see here about the families of William Neill have me curious about a possible connection as John Alexander's sons were named - John, William, Samuel, Joseph and his daughter's name was Sarah.
