Wm Neil married Margaret Elisabeth Fortman in New York City in 1847. They moved to Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvainia. Served in Civil War, drilled for oil and was a lumberman. Supposedly immigrated to Maine and much of his family died of disease. Story is that 3 survived. Can anyone relate to this story??
