I am looking for information on my g-grandfather, James K.(Kenneth) Neil (b. 1845 in Claiborn Co. TN,d. abt. 1920 in San Antonio TX)to William Neil and Margaret E. Graham. I can find no information on him after his service in the Civil War until he showes up in the 1910 Census, living with his married daughter,Lucy Middleton (born 1885 supposely in TN)and her husband Jackson Middleton. I also know that he was in Kinney Co, TX because that is where my grandfather, John Robert Neil was born in May of 1888.
James & Katherine's other children were: James, charles, Howard, Maggie and Sally Neil and Molly and Lillie Hines.
I know from a family Bible that he was married to a Katherine McCauley but can not find information on her either. Any information would be appreciated.
