Carol,
Thank you for your reply. My husband's father (Wilfrid) was born in Mass. in a place called Cachicuak (as close as I can make out) I know that the Neiderer name was maintained here in Quebec. I have very little info except that his gfather's name was Anthony and his gmother was named Adelcia Juneau. I know that someone in my husband's family did some of the genealogy tree and said that the Neiderer's came from Switzerland. I do however remember that the time of arrival in Quebec was prior to 1800. Would love to get in touch with him but lost his phone # and address.
Will let you know if more comes up.
