Need parents of Peter Neese (Nehs) b. 22 Oct 1752 Lancaster Co, PA. Peter served two & one half years as a
Revolutionary War Soldier. He had a brother, John, who was drafted, but Peter served in his stead. Sometime
prior to 1790, Peter married (need wife and info) and migrated to South Carolina. He and his father were
millers by trade. In a court appearance 16 June 1859, Daniel Cochran (a son-in-law) listed Peter's heirs as:
Drury (Drewry) Neese; Fanny Neese m. a Donaldson; Dolly (Polly) Neese m. Daniel Cochran; Betsy Neese m. a
Whitlock; Nancy Neese m. a Browning.

Drury's son William A. Neese (my gg gf) b. 1818 in Greenville Dist, SC, a gunsmith by trade, moved to Hart Co,
GA Sept 1852 and was Sheriff for 2 terms, died of small pox in 1865.

Will be glad to share info. Thanks

Believe Peter may be related to Mathias Nehs who imigrated to The US in 1731.
