My grandfather, Tomas Negron Sr was originally from the San Sebastian area of Puerto Rico. He relocated his family to Mayagues where they lived for a period of time. They then moved to Chicago, IL. His wifes name was Ancelma (Rivera) Negron and they had 12 children: Tomas Jr, Edwin, Peter, Gladis, Blanca, Lydia, Edia, Norma, Phyllis, Miriam, Rosie, & Olga. My grandfather had many siblings. Some of them went by the names of "Pilo" (nick name), "Paco" or Francisco (?), "Chito" (nick name), & a sister by the name of Mena (nick name?). I'm certain there were many others. My family tells me that most of the Negrons I am related to are from the San Sebastian area of Puerto Rico. I also have many relatives primarily in the Queens/Manhattan areas of NY as well as in the Chicago area. There's a good chance your father is related to my family. I am unaware of a Carlos Negron but maybe I can share your information with other family members to see if they know anything. He could very well be a cousin from my dad's generation. Might I also suggest using a People Finders service? Please feel free to e-mail me back with additional information. Good luck in your search efforts!
