Hi, in response to Neenan , my branch of Neenans settled in Franklin NJ in 1873 and in 1891 moved to New York city were my grandfather invented 11 parts of the elevator and owned the Neenan Elevator co. I'M still researching name , believe they came from Roscommon (Kilkiveen Parish) My ggfather Peter, had a brother michael who left NJ in 1871 and went to Cottonwood Springs, chaffee county ,Colorado and married Mary Jane O'Donnell, have not been able to trace him. Talked to a David Neenan in Co. and he told me that his father and uncle had 10 children each and I think they living in the St. Louis area also talked a Neenan in harrisburg Pa. and his family came from six mile bridge in Galway. In researching Neenan I've found over 200 Neenan families IN USA but have been able to link any of them to my Neenans Good to hear from another Neenan good luck in your research if I can any help contact me pneenan@gulftel.com Paul
