Thanks for the idea. Yes, I have seen it spelled atlear four or five different ways. Even as McNeal/Mcneel. Going over old documents looking fur the right name can ba fun when the spelling depends on the educational level of whoever the sctibe is, what they 'hear' and think the name 'should' be and so many other variantss.
