Isaac A Neel, Comanche County, TX

I am currently sorting through boxes of "stuff" my mother collected over nearly 90 years and have found some strange things! One item I would love to get some help with .... 2 pages copied from "History of Texas", pages 665 and 666. Isaac Neel seems to be the person of interest and his brother John Daniel Neel, b 1848, TN; d. 1929, Comanche, TX, married into my "Line of White" family. John Daniel "Booker" Neel was also one of the first seven men to take his family to Comanche County in 1852. My question is .... oops! my questions are: Is there a sub-title for this book? Who wrote or compiled it? When? Would it possibly be on CD or in a large library genealogy section? The 2 pages that I have seem devoted to short bios of prominent families, the time frame seems to be 1840 to around 1900. Also, the Civil War is referred to as "the late war". I would love to have access to a copy if I only knew what to ask for!! Any help would really be appreciated. Please contact me at my email address: bbaird711@yahoo.com Thank you .... Betty
