Hi Wanda,
I found my great, great Aunt Martha Tackett marriage certificate. She married Albert Gills July 25, 1885 in Burkes Garden where most of either family lived. On their certificate, Albert listed his parents as J.T. & Elizabeth Gills. Albert was 23 years old.
