In the Needles booklet which was circulated among the family, John C. Needels (the old spelling) is listed as the son of Andrew and Sarah Campbell Needels. Sarah was married to John first, then married Andrew (his brother) when John died. Ir states that John C.'s wife was Sarah Rice, but it does not give children. John C. was also married to Jane Taylor. Jane died in 1846. He and Sarah Rice were married on May 29, 1849 in Franklin County. Franklin County marriage records Vol. 5 p. 166.

Sarah Campbell Needels married a third time (perhaps a fourth as I suspect that she was originally Sarah Lake - not proven as yet) to James Conway.
