Hi,
Hoping for any information with regards to a Nee Family from Glann ? Clifden area Galway. Thomas Nee was born around 1831 and married to a Helen Sullivan. Thomas Nee parents were Peter and Catherine.
Thomas had at least six children, Cathereine born 1872,John born Jul 64, Mary Oct 66,Michael 68 and Bridget April 1870. Thomas remarried another two times and died in Glasgow in 1913.
Thomas daughter Catherine, my great great grandmother married a Michael Halpin and lived in Glasgow. Family sources tell me that Catherines mother Helen died in childbirth. I also know that Catherines brother John was married to a Kate. Any help or information on whereabouts of Glann in relation to Clifden or any family connection would be most gratefull. Have spent years getting this much and would like to know more. Thank you.
