I should read the whole thing at one time...sorry...
I can answer one other question:

There were two older children who were born in Galway, Ireland and did not come over to America...I think one of their names was Robert, not sure of the other (my mother told me that, but I can't remember the other name). There are cousins in Galway from that line up in the same location. One is a lady doctor...MD.

Also .... The father is John Nee...and the mother is Katherine or Kate but sometimes went by Annie (I think she was Katherine Ann maybe, don't know her family name, maybe Fahie), she was born in about 1830 I think. She lived till the 1890s sometime. My grandmother took care of her till she died and then married in 1896. John Nee seems to have worked for the Railroad for a while before the mine at Ritchie Mines. Seems many of the Irish there in W.Va. worked for the RR.
