The Ankney family was Huguenot with some members being Reformed
ministers.

of Kashofen, the daughter of Daniel Romer. George died 4 Nov 1680. His siblings were Theobald, Friedrich, Peter, Joseph and Rosina. His parents were Jacoby and Margaret Trautmann. Jacoby Trautman was the son of Jacob Trautmann, Jr. born 1558 in Lamsborn a student at Hornback Gymnasium (High School) from 1573-1581. Student of Theology at Strassburg, Lutheran Pastor from 1583-1593 and again
1595-1609, a farmer in Lambsborn from 1593-1597. Married Barbara, died before 1609.
> Jacob Jr. was the son of Jacob Trautmann, Sr. the Stammvater of the Trautmann family, born in Lambsborn about 1535, a farmer. Married Schneider the daughter of Censor Schneider Hansen and Beyer Ottilie. He died 1589.
