Henry Ankney of Emerald Township, died March 3rd age 87 years and 13 days. He was born in Summerset County Pa February 18, 1811, moved with his parents to Tuscarawas County, OH, 1819 and in 1852 removed to this county.
In 1837 he was married to Hanah Nedro and unto them were born eleven children, only four whom survives him. His first wife having died he again married in 1873 to Mrs. E. Nedro. His funeral. His funeral took place atZion's church the 5th inst. conducted by Rev. J. E. Weaver. He leaves his aged widow four children and five aged brothers together with their families to mourn their loss.
