This is an interesting story for me as I am writing a history of the Niblett/Neblett family and concentrating on the USA at present. Lonnie Sterling was born in Tennessee in 1879. His wife Minnie was from Texas. Anna Mae is shown in the 1910 census as born in Tennessee in 1906. She does not appear in the 1930 census but Ruth B. 1912, Ruby, also born 1912 and Clarence J. born Mar 26, 1915 are recorded as children born in Louisiana. Lonnie died on June 27, 1943 in Bossier, Louisiana.

I have not been able to locate marriages for either Ruth, Ruby or Clarence. A Clarence J III appears in Texas as born in 1974 but there are no details of parents but logically there was a Clarence J II born around 1950.

What is your source for the marriage of Anna Mae?

The history of the Neblett family (originally Niblett) in the USA goes right back to John Niblett an immigrant from Gloucestershire, England in 1640.
