Nevelle: I put the Nebeker Family Forum in Genealogy and then had health problems and was not able to put anything
in at that time. I have much to put in when I become able!
I am descended from Johann Martin Neubecker(Nebeker), born December 29, 1729 in Gauersheim, Pfalz, Bavaria, Germany. He married Anna Marie Stille on October 30, 1754 in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. She was born December 5, 1739 in Christiana, New Castle County, Delaware and was the daughter of Jonathan Van de Varb Stille and Magdalen Vandever.
Johann Martin Neubecker was the son of Johann Phillipp Neubecker, who died April 22, 1754 in Gauersheim, Bavaria,
and his wife Anna Eva.
Johann Martin and Anna Marie had 9 children, 6 boys and 3 girls. They were in the order of birth, John, Mary, Anna,George,Hance, Martin, Henry, Lucas, and Elizabeth. I believe that all of their children were born in Wilmington, New Castle County,Delaware because John, the oldest, and Lucas, my ancestor, were both born there, and Lucas was the next youngest child.
An odd fact is that these children used EIGHT different spellings for the name Neubecker. I have their birth dates and who some of them married.
