The Jonathan Neave mentioned below was my husband's great, great grandfather. His daughter, Amanda Neave (of whom I have photographs) died in 1904 at a ripe old age. Jonathan was born in Brandon Parva (Little Brandon) Norfolk in 1810. I cannot find him in the 1851 Census of Norfolk, unless there has been an error in transcribing his age. There are 2 families of Neaves (James Neave & Thomas Neave, possibly brothers) living next door to each other in Brandon Parva at that date, & if their details are of any interest to you, please let me know & I will send them to you. I also have old postcards of the farm at Spooner Row & the school there. If you have any information on my Jonathan Neave, I would be grateful to hear it. At the time of the 1891 Census he was aged 81 and living with his daughter, Amanda Neave Page at 17, Connaught Rd, Norwich, Norfolk. 1881 Census Information.
