Tammy, I have started the Neary Clan History. You can definitely say there are a lot of James, John, Joseph and Mary's in that clan. You said your grandfather is the late Ralph Neary, I haven't come across that name yet but I am starting back at my G-grandparents and then grandparents, I haven't branched off all their kids yet as G-Grandparents had at least 12 living and Grandparents had 14 or more. What I do know is that the only Nearys' that died in the Halifax explosion were G-Uncles Robert Lawrence Neary was listed as single and "Guy" Neary died at home with his wife and daughter, they were just married for over 2 years. If I come across a Ralph, I'll be sure to post but check your info and since you're in NS, you should have your whole family history just out the door or if you have found something be sure to post, I know a cousin of mine has been doing the research down there and he may know something else.
