Hi
I don't have any information that late- these names and info in this book pertain to people living in the 1600's and 1700's. The latest one I have is Carl NEAR confirmed 12 April 1748 at the age of 17 in the Rhinebeck Lutheran Church, Rhinebeck, NY. He married Catherine SCHAFFER. Carl died 04 July 1810 in his 80th year and his wife, Catherine, died 03 Dec 1810.
Their children:
1. Anna Maria NEAR b.14 Oct 1761
2. Catherina NEAR b. 16 April 1763
3. George NEAR b. 07 Jan 1765
4. David NEAR b.28 Oct 1766
5. Regina NEAR b. 25 Feb 1768 (twin)
6. Belli NEAR b. 25 Feb 1768 (twin)
7. Henrich NEAR b. 17 Feb 1770
8. Petrus NEAR b.07 April 1771
..There are lots of NEAR names in this book, and if you can find grandparents of your g-grandmother, we will have more luck in seeing if they are descended from this family.
..The earliest name I have is: Hans Jacob NEAR (NOHR) the son of Frantz Ludwig NOHR. He married Gertude SOHN, daughter of the Honorable Hermann (Haman) SOHN at Rintzenberg, Germany. Gertrude (Gertraud) NOHR was buried 14 Jan 1686 and Hans Jacob married (2) Anna Maria WEIB, widow of Johannes SCHERER. Anna Maria NEAR died 02 Sept 1713.
