My family has some relation to the Nealons - I am unsure of the connection but my paternal grandmother was caled Margaret Durkin (Durcan) from Dountas / Killaser Co Mayo and it is believed that a relative of hers emigrated to the USA - possibly California and became a pilot. I know this is sketchy but does it ring a bell.

My Grandmother married John Devaney and lived in Stonehall Foxford Co Mayo - where her son John currently lives

She had about three brothers one of which was in the navy and was killed in WWII.

Any information you may have would be helpful
