Hi i am trying to find my famliy of Neale's who were from newington and moved into Bermondsey. i have william Neale who was born 1800c who married Rebecca possibliy in newington and she may have had the surname of wilks/wicks?. william was a bricklayer. they had a son called thomas who was born 1827c in newington who was also a bricklayer. he married Fanny Byford in 1851 and they had caroline 1850c and my 2xgt grandmother emiliy in 1861.they also ahd a daughter called louisa Neale who married alfred Byford in 1842. I know that there was another familiy of Neal's living yards from them who may have been william's brother thomas' familiy. thomas was also a bricklayer and married eliza wilks/wicks (poss Rebecca and eliza/eliabeth were siblings?. The childrens name's of both families are the same and both william and thomas were bricklayers.so they could be connected. I am looking fro any info on Neales in these areas ect. amny thanks
