Alta,

In addition to the information I've already sent you about David Bussard, early homesteader in York County, NE, I'll research the York County Probate records for a death date that might be mentioned in a will. I'll also try to contact the caretaker of the Bussard-Holach Cemeter east of McCool Jct., NE, to see if they have anything in addition to cemetary records, and try to contact family members still residing in the state (I heard they may be living at Crete, NE)
