Thank you for the information you found. Elna Petersen married Don Petersen, I am not sure if the Hubert Petersen referred to on the Newkirk farm is the same one or not, but I can ask his daughters. I have since found his wife Eulella and daughters Mary Kay and Sharon on Facebook, and they have two brothers named Richard and David. Hubert and Eulella are still alive and are in the Nye Legacy nursing home in Fremont, NE and are in their mid-nineties.

I am trying to find out where Violet fits in, I remember my grandma had a picture of her and her married last name was Kindler. Alfred and Clara had Hubert, Elna and Arnold, but I don't know if she belonged to them or to Thorvald and Julia as I previously thought. I will also ask Hubert's daughters. There is also a tree I think on this same site by a Natalie George, who married Brian George, who is a son of Kay Kruse, one of Allen and Verna Kruse's daughters; Allen was the son of Chris and Christina. As far as the Kjeldgaards, I knew about Daniel; I think the Eva mentioned must be his wife Enola. I had not known they had any children. Hedvig (Hattie) was my grandma's oldest sister. There was also an older half brother, Peter, who was born in Denmark, and remembering my grandma's stories, disappeared in a blizzard trying to walk to Omaha, they never did find a body. Lars married in Denmark before coming to America, that was Peter's mother, but she died in Denmark and I don't know her name, then married Birthe. Also, on my Rasmussen side (my maiden name is Rasmussen) my great grandparents were Rasmus Rasmussen and Petrina Jensen Rasmussen; I recently found out that Petrina's mother Ane was Lars' sister, so my grandparents were second cousins! You must be related through somebody to have looked up this information, let me know.

Thanks again!
