Corrells in Thayer County; The Hebron Journal

Hello,
Seeking information on the descendants of Landis J. (L. J.) Correll, who died in Custer County in 1906. Earlier he had resided in Thayer County, Nebraska. He was a clergyman. His son Erasmus M. Correll remained in Thayer County, where he was the founder of the "Hebron Journal." Erasmus also surveyed the town of Hebron and was one of the original 18 "founding fathers" of the town. His mother was Mary Jane Vandercook -- my great-grandmother's sister, born in Winnebago County, Illinois. She died between 1870 and 1876, apparently in Thayer County. Can anyone help with an obituary or cemetery record for her? Besides her son Erasmus, she had a son named Leonard (Lenny), and there may have been daughters. Erasmus's son, Ernest, continued to publish the newspaper after his father died.

Thanks,
Ron Bachman
