Doesanyone know where the "Liberty Precinct" was in Sheridan County, Nebraska referenced in the 1900 census? I am seeking the burial place of a Mary Shefneer who died sometime between the 1900 census and 1910 census. In 1900, she and her husband William Sheffener (sp.) are found in Liberty Precinct, Sheridan Co., NE and by 1910, she is gone and he is living in Reeves Precinct, Cherry Co., NE. I have not been able to find her grave in the Mullen, NE cemetery where the rest of the family is buried, so it leaves me to wonder if maybe she is buried in Sheridan County.

There was a Sheffner family at Hay Springs that were cousins so possibly its up that direction?
