Bill,
I don't know if this is any help or not, but I have a photograph from my grandmother's album of a "Pal Turner" (possibly should be Paul?). My grandmother lived in Seward County most of her life so I am guessing the man in the photo is a Seward County resident.

My grandmother was Nancy (McComb) Marshall (1868-1958). My grandfather was William Russell Marshall (1863-1930). They had three sons Charles, Dean and Keith. Since the photo of Pal Turner appears to have been taken in the 1930s, I would guess he may have been a neighbor or possibly a friend of one of the three sons.

Gloria
