Charles Turner and Ferrey Turner, Marshall Co., WV and Seward Co., NEB

Seeking information on the families of Charles Turner and Ferrey Turner, two brothers from Marshall Co. WV who apparently moved to Seward Co., NEB.

Charles Turner (b. Feb. 2, 1850 in Marshall Co., VA [now WV]; m. Annie M Dummons abt 1867 in Marshall Co. Charles Turner was a blacksmith and is listed with his family in the 1880 census for Utica, Seward Co., NEB. He is a 30 year old male; his wife, Anna, is 32; and there are three children in the household, Evrett Turner, son, age 8; Evara Turner, daughter, age 6; and Lille, daughter, age 2. Also living in the household are Alla Turner, age 11 and a supposed sister of Charles; Clarra Cumming, identified as Charles's mother, age 55.

In the 1900 census for B. Precinct, Seward Co., NEB, there is a Charles C. Turner, age 50, b. in WV. Charles is a blacksmith, but he has a completely different family. Could it be the same Charles?

Charles had a brothr, Ferrey Turner, b. 1859 in Marshall Co., VA (now WV). Ferrey is listed as a blacksmith in the 1890-91 NEBRASKA STATE GAZETTEER BUSINESS DIRECTORY AND FARMER LIST. Ferrey is living in Utica, Seward Co., NEB.

Can anyone add additional information about these two men and their families?

Willing to trade information.

Bill Muller (married to a TURNER)
