Wilbur, Saline Co., Nebraska research

I am desprate to get someone to respond about doing some research for our Grandpa JAMES.

He was a merchant in the 1880 census in Wilbur, Saline Co., Nebraska and moved to Lincoln City, Nebraska at some unknown time. He died in 1899 of heart failure (age 58) and other complications. He was buried with his parents in Neosho Co., Kansas. His name was John H. James, born December of 1840 in Virginia and married Mary E. Waugh in Illinois in 1850's. They lived in Sangamon Co. for the 1860 and 1870 census.

Grandpa JAMES is the only child we cannot find in 1880 census and cannot find until 1902 where he married in Wallace, Idaho. He leve home at age 9 or so the story goes; however, he is not in that 1880 census with the family!

We will be most grateful for some help and will pay fee for research.

Regards,
Linda and Tom
