Samuel Thomas LAIR & Lydia Angeline CRAYS, his wife, came from Macoupin Co., IL in the fall of 1885 settling in Wilber, Saline County.

Lydia Angeline CRAYS was dau. of John J. CRAYS & Mary Jane TOSH who also came from Macoupin Co., IL, settling in Tobias, Saline County.

Their Children: The first 5 ch. b. Palmyra, Macoupin Co., IL; the others were b. in NE) Ada LAIR 1878, Dora A. LAIR 1880 d. infancy, Walter Edgar LAIR b. 1882, child d. infancy, Coralla LAIR b. 1884, Mabel LAIR b. 1886 b. Wilber, NE, Bertha Irene LAIR b. 1890 Wilber, NE, Bernard Noble LAIR b. 1892 Wilber, NE, Maude LAIR b. 1893 Campbell, Franklin Co., NE, Eva Evalina LAIR b. 1897 Wilber, NE, Samuel Simpson LAIR b. 1899 Wilber, NE, Hattie LAIR d. infancy Wilber, NE and one more child d. infancy in NE.

Have been working on LAIR, CRAYS, TOSH Families for over 25 years. Desire any information on these families. Will exchange.
