When I read your list of ancestors I am finding the names remarkably similar to my own. I think you may have two sets of Shultz family descendants that cross somewhere in Somerset. The reason I say this is because you mention Jacob Shultz ( a name like mine) but from Switzerland. My line comes thru Michael Shultz( the earliest documented immigrant and it is believe he is Dutch or possibly of English speaking Germany. He was born 1752 in Duchess Co, NY. I have the book by Charles Ross Shultz who traced Michael's descendants from Michael to those of 1943 to include my GGgrandmother, Clarissa Shultz who married Joseph Meyers. They moved to Falls City, NE and I believe settled in Ursina, NE.

One reason I am hesitant to go with Henry Meyers as the Father of my Joseph Meyers is that I see on the Silver Creek Churh charter members there is a Jos. H Meyers but it appears that his wife is MAGGIE MEYERS. This is not my Clarissa. I do know that my Clarissa's sister is Kate, the daugher of Peter Shultz, Somerset, who married Levi Nedrow.
Could Henry Meyers be the father and this Jos H Meyers be an uncle to my Joseph Meyers and another brother of your Martin Meyers? It feels like we are so close to unscrambling this. I must check the census' out there.

Thanks for all of your help to shed some light on this snarled family tree.
